Linstow Baltic, together with Snabb, is implementing a new parking management model in Riga
“Linstow Baltic”, a leading real estate developer in the Baltic region, has entered in a strategic partnership with “Snabb” – an innovative parking management company that will begin their operations in Latvia this spring. The Estonian-based company won the tender to manage all parking facilities within “Linstow Baltic’s” property portfolio in Riga and will provide efficient, digitally managed mobility solutions. “Snabb” offers modern parking management and payment systems, including automated access and convenient payment options through its mobile app.
Frode Grønvold, CEO of “Linstow Baltic”, emphasizes the company’s commitment to offering unified, high-quality, sustainable, and tech-driven services across its properties. “Partnership with “Snabb” supports our vision to enhance convenience and efficiency by applying advanced and sustainable parking management solutions in Riga. We’re excited to bring next-generation technologies to our properties to support convenient and efficient urban mobility. We believe their technology-driven approach will significantly improve the parking experience for both visitors and tenants,” said Frode Grønvold.
This collaboration marks a significant step in “Linstow Baltic’s” strategy to enhance urban mobility, implement sustainable solutions, and integrate smart technology into real estate management. The new model will offer digitalized parking management, improved efficiency in car park space planning, and sustainable practices such as optimized energy consumption and integration with city-wide mobility systems.
Starting April 1, “Snabb’s” services will be available in several key locations in Riga, including the shopping center “Origo” and business center “Origo One” parking facility, underground parking at the “Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel” and “Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel”, the “SPORTA 2” quarter, the “Lastādija” quarter, and other parking properties owned by “Linstow Baltic”.
Kustas Kõiv, CEO of “Snabb”, emphasizes that deals of this scale are rare in the Baltic parking industry. “In Estonia, only the city of Tallinn and Tallinn Airport have comparable volumes of car parks, hence this victory in the largest parking tender in the Baltics marks a significant turning point for “Snabb”. In the long run, the best product wins – this is the strategy that has driven “Snabb” forward, helping us secure new projects and expand our operations in other countries,” adds Kustas Kõiv.
With the launch of “Snabb’s” operations, several upgrades are planned for “Linstow Baltic’s” car parks. Traditional ticket machines will be replaced with license plate recognition cameras, and customers will be able to pay via contactless methods when exiting. Rather than limiting payment to a single app, “Snabb” will support payments via all major parking apps, including “Mobilly”, which has over one million users
