Last year s/c Origo had more than 20 million visitors
Shopping centre Origo again has been acknowledged as one of the main shopping places for the inhabitants of Riga and its guests. In 2024 Origo has established its position as one of the most visited shopping centres in Latvia, attracting 20.5 million visitors, which is by 3% more than in the previous year. This demonstrates the centre’s high competitiveness and drive to attract regular customers, thanks to its convenient and accessible location and strategic selection of the tenants.

For the third year in a row, the shopping centre Origo has retained its leading position as the most recognised and visited shopping centre in Riga centre. According to the market research data of Kantar Latvia, Origo is not only the most favourite shopping centre in the centre of Riga, but also one of the most recognized service providers of this segment in Latvia, with the total recognition rate of around 90%. The steady growth in visitor numbers in 2024 has also contributed to the
increase of the turnover by 3%, reaching 94.6 million euros. Thus, the demand for everyday purchases in Origo continues to rise, confirming its competitiveness and customer loyalty.
Wide range of products and services
The tenant portfolio of s/c Origo is diverse and meets various customer needs, providing a wide range of everyday goods and services that allow customers to get everything necessary for everyday life in one place.
This spring, Euronics will open their store in a more spacious premises, offering the latest technological innovation solutions and a wider range of health, beauty care as well as kitchen and TV products. In March, the newest Kilomax brand store, specialising in second-hand clothing with deliveries from European countries, will be added to the offer of the Origo shopping centre in order to care for environmental sustainability and support the circular economy. This will be the brand’s eighth store in Riga, offering a wide range of brands with new and pre-loved clothing. In addition, more news is expected this year so that customers may receive the ultimate shopping experience.
However, last year, the range of offers at s/c Origo was expanded, including the lifestyle and design goods concept store Miniso; in the catering segment, the Asian cuisine restaurant Ginger and the largest café in the Baltics, Caffeine; as well as the sweets store Candy Pop. For sports and active lifestyle enthusiasts, Puma Factory Outlet is open, while homeware can be found at Home&You. After the store’s reconstruction, the Sinsay store, a brand with democratic prices, has opened in larger premises, offering an even more extensive range of homeware. A customer service centre of Rīgas satiksme and a concept store of the Latvian brand Virši are a significant benefit for customer convenience. These additions reinforce Origo’s position as a multifunctional shopping centre tailored to the needs of today’s consumers.
Customers have appreciated another addition to the service segment: the professional self-service laundry Smaržo, where one can easily and quickly wash and dry clothes within an hour while combining it with shopping or dining.
